Come grow with us…North American Stamping is expanding and looking to hire. We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team! As a key Leader of the Production Management team, this position is responsible for the management of the overall production and tooling activities in their assigned division. This position will encourage others to seek process opportunities addressing problems through a different & innovative approach leading to improving productivity and tooling systems through TQPS. Make critical decisions while following company procedures.

EDUCATION:

• Prefer B.A. or Associates degree related to manufacturing or relative management experience in an automotive stamping environment.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years as Assistant General Manager, Plant Manager, etc. in Stamping Industry
• 5 years administering/supervising in Stamping Industry
• Prior Experience in Production, Materials, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Human Resources

PERSONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Demonstrated strong leadership qualities.
• Minimum 5 years supervising Tool and Die makers.
• Self-motivated, self-directed and able to make and meet specific goals in the Tooling Department.
• Will possess the organizational skills necessary to maintain company records to ensure IATF compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of GD&T for part requirements interpretation, feasibility and die / gauge design review.
• Demonstrate a “hands on” approach.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Required - to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language (English) used in the workplace.
• Preferred - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
