Responsibilities: - Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant or hotel - Supervise and train staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and quality standards are met - Help create and implement strategies to improve customer service and guest satisfaction - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Assist in managing budgets, financial reporting, and cost control measures - Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner - Maintain a clean and safe work environment Skills: - Strong background in the culinary industry, preferably with experience as a cook or in a kitchen setting - Excellent team management and supervisory skills - Knowledge of restaurant or hotel operations, including food preparation, service, and hospitality standards - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service - Proficient in computer systems and software used for inventory management and financial reporting Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
