 Summary/Objective: The Assistant General Manager will assist in ensuring daily activities and business operations run smoothly and efficiently while keeping at the forefront delivering superior customer service to our guests. Responsibilities will include helping to minimize operation costs, assisting in the supervision of team members, displaying excellent team leadership and work ethic. Key Competencies: * Excellent Menu and product knowledge  * Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Desire to improve skillsets.  * Able to communicate effectively with guests. * Participate in all Jersey Mike's training programs. * Ability to meet schedule requirements and is a reliable performer.  * Create employee schedules. * Perform all tasks related to opening and closing of store. * Manage and lead crew of 2 to 5 people. * Place inventory orders * Fill in for Manager in all capacities when needed. * Assist in employee training. * Lead by example * Participate in management team meetings and strategy sessions.
