SECTION I: ROLE INTRODUCTION Outlines the basic information of the role. Job Title Assistant General Manager – PPC Reporting To Plant head Location Gangaikondan Grade/ Level 2B Job Objective   We are looking for an experienced AGM – PPC to lead production planning, scheduling, and inventory control in a solar manufacturing plant. The role ensures optimal production flow, timely delivery, and efficient resource utilization. Key Responsibilities     Responsibilities KPIs 1) * Lead production planning & scheduling for solar module/cell manufacturing  * Develop monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on demand forecasts  * Coordinate with Production, SCM, Procurement, and Logistics teams   2) * Ensure on-time order fulfillment and dispatch planning * Monitor inventory levels (RM, WIP, FG) and optimize stock control  * Balance production capacity and demand to avoid shortages or excess 3) * Track production progress and adjust plans based on real-time conditions  * Implement ERP/MRP systems for planning and tracking  * Analyze data for improving planning accuracy and efficiency 4) * Minimize lead time, delays, and bottlenecks in production flow  * Prepare MIS reports and present performance metrics to management SECTION VI: ROLE PROFILE REQUIREMENTS   Education * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations  * MBA (Operations / Supply Chain) preferred Experience * 12–18 years of experience in PPC / Supply Chain in manufacturing (Solar preferred)  * Strong knowledge of production planning, MRP, and inventory control  * Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Competencies CORE COMPETENCIES LEADERSHIP/ BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES * Production Planning & Scheduling  * Inventory & Supply Chain Management * Leadership & Team Coordination  * Decision-Making Ability
