Hours: night shift hours (7:00 PM - 5:00 AM, Monday - Thursday) and commit to 42-45 hours per week.
Summary:
Our client is looking for an Assistant General Manager of Production (Night Shift) to lead our growing manufacturing operations.
This is a pivotal role for a strong, dynamic leader who can not only oversee our current advanced machining and laser processes but also strategically implement and scale new capabilities, specifically hand welding and robotic welding (using OTC welders).
The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to maintaining our premium quality standards, fostering a high-performance team culture, and driving efficiency as we expand our night shift to eventually include powder coating and product assembly/packaging.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NOT ALL REQUIRED)

· 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2-3 years in a management role overseeing production operations.
· Proven experience in implementing, supervising, and scaling welding operations, specifically with both hand welding and robotic welding (experience with OTC welders highly preferred).
· Strong understanding of diverse manufacturing processes, including CNC machining (milling, turning), laser cutting, and assembly.
· Demonstrated commitment to premium product quality and experience implementing quality control systems.
· Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced, demanding production environment.
· Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
· Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach.
· Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) for production management, data analysis, and reporting.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
