The AGM Social/Golf Experience Manager are responsible for leading their respective teams in delivering the ultimate Five Iron Golf experience. They hire, train, and coach staff to provide exceptional service and genuine, enlightened hospitality, ensuring that guests have fun, memorable experiences they’ll want to share with family and friends. Both roles focus on guiding guests through their Five Iron Golf experience, ensuring guest satisfaction and engagement, with an emphasis on the fun that the sport of golf and everything Five Iron has to offer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Drive revenue in Simulator Rentals, Food and Beverage Sales, and League sales. Recruit, hire, and train (or oversee the recruiting, hiring, and training) of social staff. Actively evaluate employee performance to ensure day-to-day business needs are met. Manage and oversee all operations of the social side of the business, including leagues, simulator rental experience, event execution, facilities maintenance, food & beverage service, and social staff scheduling. Provide a fun and engaging golf experience from check-in to check-out, gamifying the experience for fun and energy. Take pride and ownership of each Guest’s enjoyment at Five Iron Golf, ensuring above-and-beyond service standards for all staff. Serve as the in-house expert on our golf simulator technology, using your expertise to ensure guests have the best possible experience, while connecting guests with other offerings such as leagues, memberships, swing evaluations, and club fittings. Manage the Social P&L of the location, efficiently operating the space by monitoring and reducing labor and other operating costs. Build relationships within the community, foster loyalty with customers, and encourage repeat business through proactive engagement and local marketing efforts Ensure the facility remains clean and presentable while adhering to health and safety regulations, including alcohol service laws. Clearly and effectively communicate location needs to corporate representatives. Oversee the sales, execution, and management of Five Iron Golf leagues and one-off tournaments throughout the year (Fall, Winter, and Summer seasons). Handle essential administrative tasks related to sales transactions and customer service inquiries. Collaborate effectively with team members to align efforts and achieve business goals. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hospitality management experience, with at least 3 recent years as Assistant General Manager or General Manager. Strong leadership ability with a willingness to lead by example. Strong customer service skills with upbeat energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Exemplary communication, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to think on your feet, manage customer expectations, and work in a fast-paced environment. Availability to be present in the space on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time and maneuver up and down stairs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must obtain proper licensing/certifications for food/beverage handling and the location.
