JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated person to take on the role of ‘Assistant General Manager’ at The Parson Woodforde. You’ll join our fun and passionate team and be there to support the General Manager and owners in overseeing the day to day operations of the pub and B&B, ensuring high levels of customer service, and maintaining high standards across our establishment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in hospitality management, ideally having worked in a location with accommodation too (although this is not essential). You will be a strong leader and have a passion for great food, drink and service!
The hours will be full time and will include evening and weekend work, there is a possibility of a 4 day day working week or a 5 day split, if preffered. The salary is dependant on experience and can be discussed upon interview.

Your duties:

• Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the pub and B&B operations.
• To supervise staff and help train staff, ensuring a positive and fun team environment to get the most out of our team.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to help develop menus that reflect customer preferences.
• Implement methods to improve customer satisfaction and make improvements to streamline the operational efficiency of the business.
• Manage stock, ordering supplies as necessary.
• Handle customer inquiries and any complaints professionally.

SKILLS WE’D LOVE YOU TO HAVE:

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate your team.
• Strong background in management, ideally in a similar style establishment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for building rapport with guests and staff alike.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
