Description The Assistant Golf Professional supports the daily golf operations of a public golf course, ensuring an outstanding experience for all guests. This role combines customer service, tournament operations, instruction, merchandising, and staff support while promoting the game of golf in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Requirements Key Responsibilities Manage daily golf shop operations, POS transactions, and tee time flow Provide outstanding customer service in a high-volume environment Assist with tournaments, leagues, and special events Help maintain pace of play and course policies Provide individual and group instruction as assigned Support merchandising, inventory, and retail sales Assist with staff training and supervision; act as professional on duty when needed Qualifications PGA Member or Associate preferred (or willingness to enroll) Experience in high-volume golf or customer-service environment Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Compensation & Perks Competitive pay based on experience Lesson income opportunities Golf privileges and merchandise discounts PGA education support (if applicable)
