Description Good Harvest Market, Waukesha County’s largest independently owned natural & organic grocer, is currently seeking to hire a full-time Assistant Grocery Manager to support our Grocery Manager/Purchasing Lead in daily operations, ordering, merchandising, training support and customer service. This is an active, hands-on role that partners with the Grocery Manager and team to support daily operations and uphold department standards. What You’ll Do Support the Grocery Manager with daily organization and workflow. Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service. Maintain full, clean, and visually appealing displays. Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory counts, and vendor coordination. Review product movement and help identify new items or slow sellers. Ensure signage accuracy and assist with resets, promotions, and layout changes. Help create and manage the weekly schedule. Assist in training and guiding grocery clerks on procedures and standards. Support general store needs such as carts, bagging, phones, and cross-department help as needed. About Us We pay weekly. Every Friday. Knowledge of merchandising, ordering, and inventory preferred. Strong communication, organization, and follow-through. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented. Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Reliable attendance; ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Lift 50+ lbs regularly. Stand/walk for long periods; bend, reach, and move frequently. Work in coolers, freezers, and occasionally wet conditions.
