Due to our growth, currently we have opportunities for a Store-WideExperienced Assistant Manager with a Grocery Background at our 720 Bristol Road, West, Mississauga location. Your skills that we need for our team are:
· Overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the grocery store
· Setting targets and goals for the store and staff, and implementing measures to achieve them
· Managing and leading a team of staff and providing them with training and development opportunities
· Communicating with staff to ensure the teams are functioning well and productivity is consistently high
· Ability to be on the floor continuously doing specific tasks to support the team
· Ability to be self-directed as well as lead and guide multiple staff members simultaneously
· Skilled and knowledgeable decision maker to ensure everything is in sync in this fast paced environment
· Merchandising skills: checking on product freshness, properly build displays and ensuring product availability
· Ensuring the store layout is customer-friendly and products are easily accessible
· Monitoring inventory levels and ordering stock as required
· Implementing and maintaining store policies and procedures
· Ensuring the store complies with health and safety regulations
· Dealing with customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
· Outstanding customer services skill while dealing with customers in a friendly manner
· Closing the store at the end of shift, as (Key Holder)
· Developing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
· Coordinating with vendors and suppliers
· Monitoring store’s financial performance and finding ways to increase profitability
