QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Previous experience working with animals (in grooming, veterinary, boarding, or shelter setting) preferred but not required.
• Passion for animals, patience, and gentle handling.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and willingness to learn professional grooming techniques.
• Physically fit, able to lift and handle pets of various sizes.
• High standards of cleanliness and organization.

• Assist senior groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, and preparing pets for styling.
• Perform basic grooming tasks such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and sanitary trims (as trained).
• Handle pets gently and confidently, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of grooming stations, tools, and salon areas.
• Monitor pets’ behavior and health during grooming, reporting any concerns immediately.
• Support in welcoming clients, checking pets in/out, and providing updates as needed.
• Maintain grooming tools and equipment, ensuring they are sanitized and in good condition.
• Follow salon standards, safety protocols, and uphold the premium service experience.
