JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Assistant Head Housekeeper, will work directly with the Head Housekeeper and be able to aid in the daily tasks and management of the housekeeping team, and operations.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

-2 years, housekeeping experience
-2 years, supervisory or management skilled
-Familiar with Human Resources and procedures
-Experience with booking and reservation software
-Direct customer or Guest services experience

Responsibilities

-Perform daily housekeeping duties, along with the housekeeping team.
-Strict health & safety monitoring.
-Inspect all rooms, common areas, hallways, stairways and public washrooms.
-This candidate must be able to delegate and manage daily maintenance and deep cleaning schedules.
-Provide Stock evaluation reports weekly.
-Be able to navigate our reservation software and charging processes.
-Work directly with our concierge team & breakfast staff regarding any special requests, housekeeping efficiency.
-Confidently, manage Guest complaints and resolution.
-Keen to laundry linen turnover, daily stocking of towels, linens and room amenities as needed.
-Skilled to delegate duties in an efficient, dutiful and respectful manner.
-Report directly to the Head Housekeeper regarding any concerns with Health & Safety issues, staff conduct as well as Guests complaints.
