Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: assist the head nurse in day-to-day management of the inpatient area teach and mentor new staff , and ensure that quality care is delivered to patients ensure to maintain staff and patient satisfaction level meet consultants frequently to discuss patient care related issues and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance quality of patient care assess patient care and acuity trends, plan and manage unit and staffing, and ensure availability of supplies, equipment and other resources take responsibility of some of department management tasks as per supervisor’s instruction including to develop staff duty roster, check special assignments etc. assist in developing and executing specialty-based educational session , courses as per identified staff training needs assist in developing and conducting specialty-based courses/ educational material assist in policy review and prepare new protocols and guidelines prepare action plans for improving staff educational practices and demonstrate initiatives to review related concepts act as lead person for quality projects and other departmental initiatives. Requirements: You should have: a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited school minimum three years of nursing experience valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Safe Medication Administration, Aseptic Techniques, I/V Cannulation, Tool Training and Facilitation Course excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication and supervisory skills willingness to work in shift duties (morning, evening and night).
Responsibilities
Assist the head nurse in the daily management of the surgery department's inpatient area and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, managing rosters, and leading quality improvement projects and educational initiatives.
