The Role
The Assistant Head of School – Studies has a strong commitment to boys’ education and ensues quality teaching and learning is a focus for all staff and students. This role fosters an exceptional and thriving learning community and provides strategic direction and leadership to a large and vibrant College Community.
The Assistant Head of School – Studies will report to the Assistant Head of School – Learning and Teaching and be a member of the Marist College Executive team. He/she will work collaboratively with the Studies Team and the Heads of Department in leading quality learning and teaching in the College. The Assistant Head of School – Studies is responsible for leading, managing, supporting, organising and implementing curriculum, studies, and timetable related matters across Years 4-12 with specific emphasis on Years 7 to 12.
The Assistant Head of School – Studies will be an exceptional educational leader with a passion for learning, teaching and organisation. He/she will have experience of leadership as well as appropriate qualifications, be an excellent communicator and team player with strong interpersonal skills and a breadth of experience in computer technology usage.
