Description

About us

Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful school, located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk and just 7 miles from Ipswich.

We are a creative school with excellent resources, lovely students and great results. Our 2026 Ofsted inspection recognised exemplary behaviour, strong personal development and wellbeing, and a thriving Sixth Form.

We are part of East Anglian Schools Trust (EAST) alongside Bungay High School, Holbrook Academy, Kesgrave High School, Castle East School, EAST SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) and six primary schools: Aldeburgh, Easton, Leiston, Saxmundham, Wickham Market and Kyson whom we work closely with.

We are committed to providing excellent staff opportunities through developing and promoting our staff and offering an excellent CPD (Continued Professional Development) and support programme for new staff.

We are also extremely pleased to have launched our own teacher training provider EAST SCITT. This allows us to award QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and also QTS + PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) Programmes within both Primary and Secondary schools.
