OVERVIEW

Are you passionate about giving every child the best start in life? Are you passionate about inclusion? Are you looking to develop as a leader? Oakridge School is seeking an inspiring Assistant Headteacher to join our leadership team. This role could be full-time with a teaching commitment or part time with less/no teaching commitment.
This role offers you the opportunity to shape practice across the school while working closely with the Core Leadership team, other dedicated colleagues, supportive families, and wonderful children. We offer excellent professional development, and a collaborative environment where leaders grow and thrive. We can also offer flexibility within the role, for the right candidate.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a leader who is:

  • Passionate about inclusion.
  • An effective, reflective teacher who models high standards.
  • Committed to supporting staff, families, and children to achieve their best.
  • Positive, resilient, and ambitious - for yourself and the school.

We are not seeking the “finished article” but someone with the right attributes, values, and drive to make a difference. In your application, tell us what you’ve achieved so far and your aspirations for this role and beyond. We are proud that many of our leaders have progressed into Deputy Headships or Headships, so at Oakridge School we will give you the support and development you need to succeed.
