JOB DESCRIPTION

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to develop their career within the hospitality industry.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person with a keen interest in the food and beverage trade. The ideal candidate must have a keen interest in social media.
We have a full-time position available however, the applicant must be flexible with their working week.
Salary will be dependent on experience with a range of staff benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hospitality department, including food preparation, production, and service
- Supervise a team of hospitality staff, providing guidance, training, and support
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain high-quality service
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and special functions
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and dining area

Requirements:

  • The applicant must have a minimum of two years experience in the hospitality sector
  • The ideal candidate will have experience within both restaurant and function environments
  • Enjoy working as part of a team with a supportive attitude
  • Have the ability to manage and motivate a team of staff effectively
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Have a range of barista and beverage skills- Cocktail training is desirable but will be provided if necessary
  • To be a successful part of our team, you should be outgoing, personable, and can work in a busy environment
  • Cleanliness is an essential
  • Must be able to think and perform under pressure
  • Must have the ability to motivate, train staff, and ensure standards are met within all areas of the business
  • To implement all policies and procedures as devised by management;
  • To order, check, and accept deliveries of goods and equipment as necessary
  • Control & coordinate staff as and when required
