Description The Assistant Hospitality Manager supports the Director of Hospitality and the Hospitality Manager in the daily operations of the Hospitality Department, helping ensure exceptional member experiences, operational consistency, and team accountability across all hospitality functions. This role assists in overseeing concierge operations, member engagement, team development, and hospitality execution during driving sessions, events, and club activations while maintaining The Concours Club's service standards and expectations. This position requires a hands-on leader who can anticipate member needs, mentor team members, solve problems proactively, and maintain the high standards expected within the Hospitality Department. Roles & Job Responsibilities · Support the Director of Hospitality and Hospitality Manager in the daily leadership and operation of the Hospitality Department. · Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Lead Concierges and Concierge team members to ensure service standards and operational expectations are met. · Serve as the acting departmental leader in the absence of the Director of Hospitality or Hospitality Manager, ensuring continuity of operations and member service. · Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and shift coverage to support departmental needs. · Support performance management initiatives through coaching, feedback, and employee development conversations. · Collaborate with Circuit Operations, Service Center, Instructors, and Member Services teams to ensure seamless execution of driving sessions and events. · Monitor daily circuit session flow and member participation to ensure operational readiness. · Support pre-session operational checks and verify hospitality readiness for all member driving activities. · Act as the primary hospitality liaison during active circuit sessions, ensuring member needs are communicated and addressed promptly. · Assist with the coordination and execution of Circuit side hospitality activations, member events, and special experiences. · Maintain situational awareness of circuit operations and adapt hospitality staffing and services based on schedule changes, weather, and operational demands. · Ensure members and guests receive a seamless experience from arrival through departure, coordinating closely with all operational departments. · Anticipate member needs during driving sessions, including vehicle preparation requests, instructor coordination, hospitality amenities, and circuit side accommodations. · Assist in VIP member visits, private events, and special trackside hospitality experiences. · Foster strong relationships with members and serve as a trusted point of contact during club operations and events. · Oversee weekly inventory controls, audits, and operational supply management. · Review inventory discrepancies and support inventory reporting processes. · Assist with member gear, laundry, and hospitality-related billing oversight. · Distribute daily reservation documentation to all operational staff to ensure alignment and readiness. · Mentor, train, and develop Lead Concierges and Concierge team members. · Support onboarding, training initiatives, and performance accountability. · Assist with the development and refinement of SOPs, workflows, and operational best practices. · Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, communication, and service delivery. · Work with other Department leaders to meet daily operational goals and needs. Skills & Qualification Requirements · 1 to 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality, guest services, private clubs, luxury hotels, resorts, or other high-touch service environments. · Demonstrated experience leading teams, maintaining service standards, and supporting day-to-day operations in a hospitality-focused environment. · Proven ability to lead operationally while remaining actively engaged in daily service execution. · Strong leadership, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility with members, guests, and team members. · Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence. · Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure. · Experience mentoring, training, and developing team members. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS’s platforms. · Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. · Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require. Work Environment This job is performed both indoors and outdoors in an automotive environment and involves intermittent exposure to high noise levels in the work environment. This job has intermittent levels of high stress. Physical Demands Assistant Hospitality Manager must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift, stoop, bend, reach, and carry 25+ pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. The Assistant Hospitality Manager is expected to work an alternating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
