Description

Our client a company that specializes in managing hotels and resorts is seeking to hire an Assistant Hotel General Manager for a brand-new hotel that opened in Brookfield, WI in 2024. This is a direct hire (full-time position) that pays $70K-$80K based on relevant experience and includes a generous benefits package. In this position you will be required to be part of the on-call schedule and/or work nights and weekends depending on the needs of the hotel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of experience as an Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, Director of Rooms at a hotel OR 3+ years of experience as a Front Office Manager, Hotel Food and Beverage Manager, or similar position.
  • Must have previous experience in a Supervisor or Management position.
  • Previous experience working with other divisions inside a hotel such as housekeeping, dining/beverage, operations, restaurant, or maintenance preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to resolve issues for hotel guests and internal hotel employees.
  • Must be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends. and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledgeable of all aspects of hotel operations.
  • A passion for providing exceptional quality of service to make our guests experience a memorable one.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment. You will be assisting the General Manager in leading the team in the development and implementation of property-wide strategies, ensure implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations and building relationships with key customers.
