Due to a internal transfer we are now seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support our housekeeping operations and help ensure we deliver an exceptional experience for every guest, every stay. Job Description As a key member of the housekeeping leadership team, you’ll assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing all aspects of the department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities: Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards. Implement and maintain Accor's housekeeping systems, procedures, and productivity benchmarks. Address guest inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally, informing relevant management as needed. Coordinate with the hotel's laundry provider to uphold high-quality laundering and service standards. Oversee and maintain proper use and servicing of housekeeping equipment. Step in to lead the department during the Executive Housekeeper’s absence. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, revenue, and operational efficiency. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Salary NZD $67,000 - NZD $70,000 per annum Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role or housekeeping manager role in smaller property within hotel housekeeping. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Ability to handle guest concerns with tact and professionalism. Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, inventory systems, and laundry operations. A proactive and hands-on approach to team management and training.
