We are seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor at our facility Noordhoek Manor, Southern Suburbs to carry out various cleaning duties and to ensure our facilities are in an orderly condition.

• Please note, preference will be given to candidates residing in the Fish Hoek area close to the facility

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Minimum 18 months general cleaning experience/ Healthcare cleaning experience is advantageous
• Previous supervisory experience
• Computer Literacy
• Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations
• Knowledge regarding the proper use of cleaning/chemical agents
• Attention to detail and good communication skills
• We will require a written reference in order to proceed with your application

  Working Hours: You will be required to work 16.25 shifts per month, as per the roster from 07h00 until 19h00. Normal working days are Mondays to Sundays, including public holidays.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Performing general and deep cleaning duties in the Healthcare and Body Corporate areas (e.g. dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping)
• Conducting heavy duty cleaning tasks and special projects upon request
• Performing specialised cleaning within the Healthcare
• Handle chemical and stock management responsibly
• Reporting any areas of concern and any maintenance requirements such as a light bulb replacement, leaking wash basin etc
• Provides supervisory support and taking on full scope of responsibilities in the supervisors absence
• Following all health and safety regulations
