Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a well reputed and established HVAC Manufacturer in UAE for over 2 decades looking to hire an Assistant HR Manager with a capacity of managing over 200+ employees in the past.


The position will be based in Umm Al Quwain, UAE so candidates only interested to relocate or willing to travel daily can apply as this will be an onsite role


Salary- 10,000- 12,000 AED (Non Negotiable) - Self Benefits- Visa, Medical and Air ticket


  1. Manage and maintain all corporate, statutory, and regulatory documentation, including Trade Licenses, Civil Defense certificates, MOA, and other relevant company records, ensuring they remain valid, updated, and readily accessible.
  2. Manage and coordinate all employee and corporate insurance requirements, including policy renewals, additions, deletions, claims, and coordination with insurance providers and brokers.
  3. Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, visa and work permit processing, employee insurance, personnel records, performance management, leave administration, transfers, promotions, and separation procedures.
  4. Oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing, payroll records, deductions, benefits, and compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
  5. Ensure compliance with applicable UAE Labour Laws, employment regulations, company policies, health and safety requirements, and other relevant regulatory standards, while coordinating employee training and awareness programs as required.
  6. Develop, maintain, and periodically review Job Descriptions (JDs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in coordination with Management and respective Department Heads, ensuring clearly defined roles, responsibilities, performance expectations, and structured performance evaluations.
  7. Address and resolve employee grievances, workplace concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary matters fairly and professionally, in accordance with company policies and applicable labour regulations.
  8. Oversee employee accommodation and related requirements, including allocation, occupancy, maintenance, facilities coordination, inspections, and compliance with applicable health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  9. Manage employee travel-related requirements, including visa processing, flight bookings, accommodation, and other travel arrangements, in accordance with approved business travel plans and company policies.
  10. Plan and coordinate employee welfare programs, engagement initiatives, recreational activities, and other employee-focused activities to promote employee well-being, motivation, retention, and a positive workplace environment.
  11. Coordinate manpower planning and recruitment activities with Management and Department Heads to ensure the organization maintains the required workforce in line with operational requirements, business objectives, and approved manpower budgets.
  12. Develop, implement, maintain, and periodically review HR policies, procedures, and processes to ensure consistency, operational efficiency, compliance, and effective HR management across the organization.
  13. Drive the strategic direction of HR, Administration, and related support functions across the organization and its subsidiaries, aligning people, processes, compliance, and operational requirements with the Group’s business objectives and growth plans.
  14. Establish, implement, and maintain integrated HR management systems, HRMS, governance frameworks, and related processes to strengthen decision-making, accountability, reporting, compliance, and cross-functional coordination across the organization.
  15. Undertake any other HR, administrative, compliance, or organizational responsibilities assigned by Management, as required to ensure the smooth, efficient, and effective functioning of the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of overall HR experience, preferably with solid UAE experience.
  • Previous experience in an Assistant HR Manager, HR & Admin Manager or Senior HR Generalist position.
  • Strong preference for candidates from HVAC, MEP, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, contracting or related industries.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance.
  • Proven experience managing the complete HR function, rather than specialising in only one area of HR.
  • Strong experience in payroll, WPS, recruitment, employee relations, visa/work permits and HR administration.
  • Experience managing both blue-collar and white-collar employees will be highly advantageous.
  • Experience with employee accommodation and workforce welfare will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of HRMS and HR reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple HR activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the HR function.
