The Assistant Human Resource Officer is accountable to the Manager, Human Resources in delivering effective HR advisory service to the Emergency Services Sector (ESS) - South Australian Country Fire Service, South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service, South Australian State Emergency Service and SA Fire and Emergency Services Commission. This involves providing timely and accurate HR advice, guidance and support, focusing on recruitment, contract management and general HR matters including all areas of employment lifecycle from vacancy, advertisement, recruitment and selection, onboarding and offboarding. The role will also provide general advice and support on various human resource systems.
