REPORTS TO: Human Resources Director STARTING WAGE: $67,375 adjusted for relevant education and experience. FLSA STATUS: Exempt RESIDENTIAL OPPORTUNITIES, INC. (ROI) IS SEEKING A DYNAMIC AND EXPERIENCED ASSISTANT HR DIRECTOR TO SUPPORT AND HELP LEAD OUR HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Support HR Assistants, ensuring high-quality service delivery * Assist with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of staff * Oversee HR systems, records management, and reporting * Support benefits administration and employee records maintenance * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations * Assist with unemployment hearings and related documentation * Serve as a liaison between employees, leadership, and external partners * Participate in and deliver training and staff development initiatives * Promote and uphold ROI’s Personnel Policies and Core Values * Lead HR team efforts to support program operations and agency-wide goals * Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information * Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews * Advance ROI’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism   WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Associate’s degree in a related field + 3 years of experience  * Bachelor’s degree and/or SHRM-CP preferred * Experience with HRIS systems (Paycor strongly preferred) * Strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, etc.) * Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills * Proven leadership and team-building abilities * Ability to manage multiple priorities with the highest professional standards * Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles   COMPENSATION & BENEFITS ●       Competitive salary with growth potential ●       Comprehensive benefits package, including: * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Retirement plan options with 3% employer match * Professional development and advancement opportunities * Tuition reimbursement program (approved application required) * $500 referral bonus ●       Supportive leadership and a mission-driven culture ●       Opportunity to make a lasting impact in your community
