Department Overview: DPC is an innovative model of healthcare delivery.  Our clinic does not accept any insurance. The doctor has an arrangement directly with the patient to supply primary care services for an affordable monthly membership fee. We strive to handle most medical issues in the office, including minor procedures, while minimizing specialist referrals.  Patients also get significant savings on medications, labs, and imaging.   Anticipated Hours Per Week 15 to 40 Schedule: Flexible Schedule, work 15-20 hours per week. Daytime hours only, no nights or weekends. You must own a reliable vehicle. Please do not apply to this job if you do not have a car. Should be available to start training for approximately 5-7 days of training (around your class schedule). Would like someone who would commit to a minimum of one year working with us and who will be in town over Summer/Winter breaks. Salary/Wage Range: Hourly $14.00 to $16.00 Number Of Positions 6 Position Summary/Job Duties: Direct Primary Care Family Medicine clinic looking for part time help - answering phones, scheduling patients for appointments, handling and following up on referrals, reviewing medical records to abstract charts.  This is a great opportunity to see what a private medical office is like.  Work 1-2 days per day , during Work day hours- Monday- Friday  between 8 am - 5pm .  Shifts are full day and half day- 7am- 5pm, 7- 12pm, 12p- 5pm. Please do not apply to this position if your class schedule does not allow you to work the above shifts at least 2-3 shifts (10-15 hrs) per week. Experience in a medical office is not required.  We will train you. We will teach you to do Medical Assistant duties -taking vitals, setting up for procedures, drawing blood . Ideally looking for candidate that can committ to minimum of 12 months but longer is preferred. We would love to talk to someone who is enthusiastic, positive attitude, willing to learn new skills and works well with a team.  Qualifications: High school diploma, Current College Student, Pre-Med students or students with interest in Medicine REQUIREMENTS- Must own a reliable vehicle as we have 4 clinics in the Madison area.
