About You

You should ideally be an empathetic person who has:

  • A positive and friendly personality with a passion for assisting our Residents to maintain their quality of life.
  • The ability to engage with team members, other professionals, and a wide range of people with both a high level of verbal and written communication.
  • The capacity to inspire trust and enjoys interacting with the elderly.
  • A focus on delivering excellent customer service to Residents, their families, and other external parties.
  • Flexibility and can be available on short notice for varied shifts across all days the week.

The role will be centred around providing a high-quality lifestyle for Residents that aligns with individual Resident choices and best practice. You will be making a real impact on Residents’ lives, by providing respectful and safe assistance with:

  • Daily and meaningful activities.
  • Medication administration.
  • Mealtimes in line with Aegis’ Excellence in Dining strategy.

You will need to have:

  • A certificate III in Aged Care (or higher/equivalent).
  • Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
  • Flexible availability
  • Preferably someone living in metro area.
  • Should have your own car and driving license.
