About This Role

Your new role:

As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will support Registered Nurses in delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care to patients within Ward 5A, 5B and the Coronary Care Unit. Working under supervision, you will contribute to the daily clinical and operational functioning of a high-acuity cardiology and internal medicine environment.

In This Role, You Will

Assist RNs with direct patient care and daily clinical activities Observe patients, report changes and escalate concerns appropriately Support ward operations including equipment checks and stock management Contribute to a safe, respectful and team-focused care environment

About You

You are a reliable and compassionate healthcare worker who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team and takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care.

You Will Bring

A patient-centred approach with strong communication skills Ability to follow instructions and work under RN supervision Attention to safety, dignity and quality of care Willingness to learn, maintain competencies and support team goals Certificate III in a relevant clinical area (highly regarded)

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
