THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking Assistant in Nursing team members to support our Mental Health Inpatients at Ramsay Clinic Macarthur. This role would be well suited to an AIN who is a 2nd or 3rd Year Nursing Undergraduate with an interest in mental health nursing. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

You will also demonstrate:

• Current enrolment as a 2nd or 3rd year nursing student.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively according to directions
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of customer service and excellent time management skills
• Understanding of infection control principles
• Ability to work a rotating roster, including afternoon and night shifts

REQUIREMENTS

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
