ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Assistant in Nursing you will be integral to us achieving our goal of healthier rural people and thriving communities.
You’ll have strong communication, empathy and customer service skills while you assist patients with their daily routines, such as showering, toileting, dressing, eating, communication, mobility, medication and exercise. You’ll keenly observe those in your care, keep accurate electronic patient records and assist in the planning of daily routines and ongoing care.
Working closely to assist the registered nurse, you’ll work independently on tasks delegated, collaborate well within a multidisciplinary team and manage a varied workload with competing priorities.
We commit to support you in an inclusive, collaborative and caring team environment, and will help you develop the skills you need to reach your potential.
