Our 3 month Dental Assistant in Training program is a fantastic opportunity to those with no experience in the dental field to grow into an exciting new career at a fraction of the cost of traditional schooling. All while being paid! The Pediatric Dental Assistant in Training program requires commitment and intensive training that is not necessarily applicable to the dental hygienist education and training. What to expect Full time intensive curriculum that allows dental assistants in training to jump into full time clinical assisting when completed. Topics include infection control/sterilization, radiology, dental terminology, dental treatment procedures, and much more. Ongoing training including hands-on and paid study time. Requirements Full time availability Have an open mind and be willing to learn a new skillset Plan to spend 8-12 hours of home study each week. Commitment to 2 years of employment with Acorn Dentistry for Kids. Plan for expenses such as transportation between clinics in the area, textbooks, and DANB exam fees (all still a fraction of the cost of traditional Dental Assistant schooling). Qualifications
