We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Student Affairs Office: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Planning, implementing and tracking the Student Affairs Office’s (SAO) and University’s industry partnership initiatives, including coordinating with various Schools and Offices within the University; Engaging with the University’s current partners (including corporations, government entities, semi-government organisations, NGOs, and trade associations) and proactively exploring new collaborative initiatives; Assisting in identifying new partnership opportunities for the SAO and University, such as career placements, entrepreneurial support, research collaborations, and curriculum development; Conducting research on industry developments to inform and align with the University’s partnership strategies and objectives; Promoting the University’s capabilities and achievements by developing marketing materials—including webpages, social media posts, presentations, and other promotional content—in collaboration with industry partners; and Performing any other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Affairs and/or his/her delegate. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognised bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant working experience; Demonstrated ability to build and execute partnership initiatives in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. Proven experience in industry partnerships and student development within the post-secondary education sector is considered an advantage; Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills in business-level English and Chinese (including Mandarin), both written and spoken; Ability to build initiatives from the ground up and manage multiple tasks, comfortable working in a dynamic environment to deliver solid results; A high degree of self-motivation, ownership and organisation; a problem solver capable of working independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders; and Flexible work attitude, including a willingness to work weekends and evenings to support industry partnerships and student development initiatives.
