Kari Campbell Interiors is a full-service interior design firm located in Minneapolis. We specialize in high-end, laid-back living. Our projects include custom residential interiors and boutique commercial spaces.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field required; with coursework in computer-aided design in AutoCAD, Chief Architect, or similar software.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in interior design; working with clients, builders, and contractors in the field.
  • Project Management software experience (Asana, Dubsado, Studio Designer, etc.) – preferred.
  • Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Products, etc.) – preferred.
  • Knowledge of Houzz Software – preferred.
  • Experience with AI – preferred.
  • Strong portfolio that showcases your previous personal work.
  • Reliable car and valid driver’s license to go to and from project sites, showrooms, meetings, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with principal designer & lead designer to assist with various responsibilities on all projects.
  • Works with clients to determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed.
  • Conducts site measurements and draws accurate as-built floor plans in AutoCAD or Chief Architect software.
  • Creates new floor plans, elevation drawings, electrical layouts, etc.
  • Sources products and finishes, adhering to project and budget specifications.
  • Creates conceptual and detailed design presentations.
  • Creates 3D renderings.
  • Creates Digital Construction Binder including Spec Books and FF&E Schedules.
  • Collaborates with architects, builders, and contractors on details of the design.
  • Reviews proposals, purchase orders, and invoices with principal designer or lead designer.
  • Assists in overseeing the installation of materials, furniture, and other design elements.
  • Assists with projects from start to finish including project schedules, budgets, client expectations, and communication.
  • Maintains current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design.
  • Assists with marketing and client-retention.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
