Description We are seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will also be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, and maintaining kitchen equipment. Responsibilities: - Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen - Ensure that food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met - Supervise kitchen staff and ensure that they are following proper procedures - Manage inventory and order supplies as needed - Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure that it is in good working condition - Assist in menu planning and recipe development - Train new kitchen staff and provide ongoing training to existing staff - Ensure that all kitchen staff are following proper safety procedures - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - 2+ years of experience in a kitchen management role - Strong leadership and communication skills - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for food and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
