JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Perform laboratory operations by preparing materials, samples and perform routine & non-routine laboratory testing.
2. Preparing laboratory reports and submit to Laboratory Manager.
3. Perform laboratory scale experiment under supervision.
4. Participate in off – site trials and inspections under supervision.
5. Manage laboratory inventory and equipment to ensure operational requirements are met at all times.
6. Maintain consumables/spare parts inventory, equipment calibration, troubleshooting and equipment maintenance planning.
7. Clean and maintain laboratory equipment including calibration of equipment.
8. Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records and submit to Laboratory Manager weekly.
9. Communicate effectively with laboratory manager on work progress.
10. Maintain workplace safety and security in the laboratory.
11. Interacts with operations team and department manager.
12. Able to work overtime and weekend if the need arises.

QUALIFICATIONS/POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
2. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or any Chemical related fields.
3. Proficiency in MS Office.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work as a team or independently.
5. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
6. Experience in Water Quality Testing: Candidates with previous experience in water quality testing, such as Ph, gas chromatography (GC), water content measurement, density and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD).
7. Understanding of computerized laboratory equipment: Familiarity with using and maintaining computerized lab equipment is an advantage.
8. Adherence to instructions and procedures: must be capable of consistently following detailed instructions and established procedures.

   Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,500.00 per month
