As a Assistant Land Surveyor, you’ll assist the surveyors with all aspects of land surveying, from initial site reconnaissance to assisting with site surveys comprising of various land, measured building, hydrographical, and railway surveys, including working on interesting construction projects across the United Kingdom and Europe.

Typical tasks to be performed in this role at the early stage of the employment, shall include but not be limited to:

  • Taking various survey notes and assisting with recording high resolution geo-referenced photos and videos during various site activities
  • Assist senior surveyors during the site survey process by utilising various high precision survey total stations, GNSS receivers, terrestrial laser scanners, drones, ground-penetrating radars, and other state of art surveying technology.
  • Carry out desktop survey computations, drafting, and analyses.
  • Prepare computer-aided drawings and models.

Please note, full training will be provided by the company to the successful candidates, therefore, no prior land surveying experience is required!

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A-Level, BTEC National Diploma or HE qualification.
