We have an exciting opportunity to join our Settlement Agreement Unit (SAU) as an Employment Rights Lawyer, initially based in our Liverpool or Manchester branch. The successful candidate will need to be in the Liverpool office full-time for 4–6 weeks for training before moving to a hybrid working arrangement. More about the role... Our Lawyers provide legal advice and support to Trade Unions and their members on settlement agreements across a range of industries. They liaise with Union officers, assist senior solicitors with high-profile mass settlement exercises, and work closely with the team to market and grow our service offering. They also negotiate settlement terms in line with legislation and client instructions. With full training and support, they develop specialist skills in advising on, negotiating, and executing settlement agreements. More about you... We’re keen to hear from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives, whether newly qualified or more experienced, with a background in providing legal advice. Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside the ability to negotiate and influence, are key.
