Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Learning & Development Manager to support the delivery of impactful learning initiatives within our resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, this role plays an important part in implementing learning strategies that enhance employee capability, engagement, and overall organisational performance. The Assistant Learning & Development Manager will support the identification of training needs across departments and assist in designing and delivering high-quality learning programmes for employees at all levels. Working closely with department heads and the People and Culture team, this role will help coordinate and facilitate training activities, ensuring alignment with brand standards and organisational priorities. Key responsibilities include supporting the creation and maintenance of the annual training calendar, assisting in the delivery of classroom and on-the-job training sessions, and contributing to the rollout of innovative learning solutions such as e-learning and blended learning approaches. The Assistant Learning & Development Manager will also help monitor training attendance, track learning data, and evaluate programme effectiveness to support continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, this role will assist in integrating global brand and culture initiatives into daily learning activities, contribute to fostering a culture of continuous development across departments, and provide coaching and support to departmental trainers to ensure consistent training standards. Qualifications The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of one year of experience in a similar Learning and Development role with prior working experience in Vietnam considered essential. Experience within hospitality or service-focused environments will be highly advantageous. Fluency in both English and Vietnamese (spoken and written) is required to effectively support a diverse workforce and deliver training programmes. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, confidence in facilitating training sessions, and a passion for supporting employee growth and development.
