We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will primarily be responsible for designing and delivering English enhancement activities and teaching English communication, English for Academic Purposes, and other English language proficiency courses offered by the School. The key responsibilities include: Developing, organizing, and conducting English language enhancement activities such as one-to-one consultations, workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions to improve students' English communication skills and academic readiness. Teaching English language proficiency courses, including English for Academic Purposes, communication skills, and other university-level English proficiency courses. Designing and developing English teaching materials, assessment tasks, and related resources. Providing personalized academic support and consultations to students to enhance their English proficiency. Monitoring and evaluating students’ learning progress and providing constructive feedback. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall English teaching and learning environment within the School of Education and Languages. Performing other duties related to teaching and language enhancement as assigned by the School. Candidates Applicants should possess the following qualifications, experience, and attributes: A recognized Master’s degree in English, Applied English Linguistics, Education, or a related field. Proficiency in English, with native or near-native fluency. Experience in teaching English communication, English for Academic Purposes, or similar courses, preferably in a higher education context. Strong skills in designing and delivering engaging, student-centered English language activities. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and creatively in a multicultural environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using technology and AI-assisted methods for teaching and learning, including familiarity with online teaching tools and software.
