Department/ Unit: School of Biomedical Sciences Closing Date: May 28, 2026 The School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) of the CUHK Faculty of Medicine is committed to nurturing health professionals and the next generation of biomedical scientists to excel in research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and health services. We are seeking passionate and highly motivated individuals to join our innovative and energetic teaching team as Assistant Lecturer/ Lecturer in the Division of Education, School of Biomedical Sciences. Our Division has a strong track record in leading cutting‑edge teaching initiatives and pedagogical research. Applicants should have formal training or teaching experience in pharmacology. Candidates are also expected to cover teaching in other areas, including biochemistry and human physiology. Applicants should hold a PhD in biomedical sciences or a related discipline. Candidates with at least 3 years of post-PhD teaching experience in higher education or a proven track record in industry may be considered for the Lecturer post. Candidates with a specific interest in eLearning or applying new pedagogical approaches to teaching would be an advantage. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence and the ability to collaborate effectively. The appointee will be engaged in teaching undergraduate preclinical and biomedical sciences subjects, student mentoring, course coordination, and undertaking other teaching-related administrative duties. Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for two years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
