About the team
The Cashier’s team led by the Head Legal Cashier work closely with the fee-earning departments to ensure that all client and matter transactions are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The Cashier’s team of seven work closely together to ensure a good service is always provided to the business. Training across the different roles within Cashier’s will be given to ensure that sufficient cover can be provided across the team. The team liaises with the Billing, Credit Control and the Finance Management teams, so it is crucial to ensure open lines of communications and workflows are maintained across the different parts of the Finance team and client service teams within the Firm as appropriate.
About the role
This role is predominantly responsible for ensuring that a range of disbursements are posted onto the system in a timely manner and then paid at the appropriate time. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to learn all aspects of Cashiering and progress within the department.

You will have a professional manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have previous experience working within an office. You’ll have a flexible nature and will enjoy working within a fast-paced team, and will be highly organised. You’ll also possess strong numeracy and attention to detail skills, which will be key within this role. We are looking for someone who is passionate about being a team player, who is keen to support others.
