Description:
The Office of Information, Knowledge & Library Services (OIKLS) seeks an enthusiastic and passionate individual to implement communication strategies and social media plans for OIKS in the areas of library marketing, event management, website & social media management, and student engagement so that our patrons and stakeholders are well informed and enjoy positive library experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Organize marketing campaigns in accordance with the overall communication and marketing strategy.
- Implement marketing activities across a broad range of digital marketing channels (social media, digital screens, print, & email).
- Conduct research and prepare reports on academic library trends and the various stakeholder groups to drive engagement initiatives.
- Conceptualise and manage creation of engaging digital content for publishing onto digital platforms.
- Manage social media accounts, create engaging posts, and respond to audience inquiries.
- Monitor social media trends and analyze engagement metrics to inform future strategies.
- Maintain all Internet and Intranet pages (role of Editor in NTU Social Media Policy).
- Propose and develop concepts and themes for engagement activities aimed at undergraduate and graduate students.
- Organize and promote the activities to generate awareness and participation.
- Organise events held in library premises and advise stakeholders on best practices.
- Lead the logistics of library events, activities and initiatives.
- Conduct library tours and visits.
- Plan and collect relevant data on events and initiatives.
Requirements:
- A recognized Master of Science in Information Studies or Master of Library and Information Science is preferred.
- A recognized Bachelors degree in any field.
- Good working knowledge of Wordpress or other content management systems, Wooclap and similar engagement systems.
- Knowledge in managing business accounts of key social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Telegram and use the various tools and resources of each platform to study/boost followers, reach and engagement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Forms, and Excel).
- At least 3 years of working experience in a marketing role.
- Experience in developing communication plans or stakeholder management in education industry.
- Experience in writing for social media and conducting business presentation will be advantageous.
- Good presentation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Good time management skill and ability to prioritize work well.
