Since 2005, eCycle Solutions has been committed to protecting and improving our environment through safe, convenient, and cost-effective recycling methods for electronic and electrically powered assets.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Assistant Supervisor will work alongside and lead production personnel of selected lines during the afternoon shift, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and team performance. You will lead by example, train staff, and maintain compliance with SOPs while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Direct, train, and dynamically allocate staff to meet production targets.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce PPE use, conduct safety meetings, and participate in incident investigations.
• Process Excellence: Maintain deep knowledge of all workstations; troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows.
• Communication: Facilitate shift handovers, lead daily meetings, and promote cross-department collaboration.
• Housekeeping & 5S: Sustain organized workspaces and uphold 5S standards.
• Documentation: Record production metrics, quality checks, and safety reports accurately.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in a production leadership role (manufacturing/fast-paced environment).
• Proven ability to train teams and allocate, direct forklift drivers and operators based on inventory levels
• Working knowledge of hand tools, screw guns, hammer, table saw
• Tech-Savvy: knowledge of Excel/Word; SAP experience is an asset.
• Safety-First Mindset: work safely and strict adherence wearing of personal protective equipment PPEs
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
