Key Responsibilities: - Assist in Developing, planning, and implementing recreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents - Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation - Assess residents’ needs and preferences to create personalized activity plans - Collaborate with staff and family members to ensure activities support residents’ overall well-being - Monitor and document residents’ participation and progress in activities - Maintain a safe and clean activity space, ensuring all activities comply with safety standards Skills and Qualifications: - Prior experience in recreational therapy, activity coordination, or a related field, preferably with seniors - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging seniors in meaningful activities - Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons, nights, and weekends - Compassionate, patient, and energetic demeanor - Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to adapt activities for various physical and cognitive abilities At Grand Villa of Palm Coast, we pride ourselves on fostering a warm, welcoming community where staff are valued and residents thrive.
