REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work the required shift of Friday-Sunday 6:00PM-6:00AM
  • Ability to read and understand English instructions and communicate effectively with team members and maintenance staff
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around equipment
  • Prior machine operating experience in food manufacturing
  • Ability and willingness to stand for the full shift
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs when loading roll stock
  • Knowledge of product quality and production processes
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a forklift license

Responsibilities
  • Substitute for Machine Operators during breaks, lunches, illness, or vacations
  • Supply production lines with needed materials and packaging
  • Move skids of cardboard to tables and packing stations
  • Transport product from packing areas to the warehouse using a handjack
  • Safely transport and load rolls of packaging film (up to 80 lbs at chest height, every 1–2 hours)
  • Change code blocks for daily/weekly codes and pricing; set machine weights
  • Start and stop packaging equipment including power, vibrators, and conveyors
  • Operate labeling equipment and assist machine operators as needed
  • Work proactively in a cross-functional team environment to meet production goals
