OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a motivated Assistant Management Accountant with AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) who’s ready to take the next step toward CIMA. You’ll play a key role in monthly reporting, reconciliations, VAT, fixed assets, and audits, gaining broad exposure across management accounting and finance operations. REQUIREMENTS

• AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent) with a strong foundation in accounting.
• Motivated and ambitious, ready to take the next step toward CIMA.
• Confident in handling monthly reporting, journals, reconciliations, and intercompany accounts.
• Knowledgeable in VAT, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with accounting/business systems.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Experience supporting audits or statutory accounts is a bonus.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly financial reports, journals, and reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
• Maintain fixed asset records, calculate depreciation, and manage additions/disposals.
• Support accruals, prepayments, cashbook updates, and credit card expense management.
• Assist with VAT returns, audits, and statutory accounts.
• Contribute to management accounts preparation and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Provide support to the ledger team during busy periods or absences.
