We are working with a well-recognised distribution company located near Old Trafford who are looking for an assistant management accountant to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ambitious and wanting to develop within a finance role, and complete ACCA/ACA/CIMA studies. This role is number 2 within finance and reports into the finance manager and financial director within the company.

Duties will include:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with the monthly cash flow forecasting
• Assist with annual budgets and analysis
• Accruals, prepayments and journals
• Handle reconciliations, ledger control, audits and stock reports.
• Cover audit and tax submissions to HMRC
• Quarterly VAT Returns
• Other adhoc duties across finance

The Candidate:

• Experience handling month end and management accounts
• Advanced Excel skills
• ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified (desirable)
