Job Description We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team at our Litchfield location (401 N State St). Run shifts efficiently while maintaining high operational standards and ensuring all store procedures are followed Lead, motivate, and support team members through coaching, feedback, and performance management Manage cash handling, reconciliation, and financial transactions with accuracy and transparency Interact professionally with customers and employees, resolving concerns with empathy and decisiveness Answer phones, take orders, and provide outstanding customer service that exceeds expectations Oversee store cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of all areas Assist with scheduling, training, and onboarding of new team members Analyze store performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement Handle physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds regularly Support inventory management and stock organization Communicate clearly with management regarding operational challenges and successes Qualifications **Required Qualifications:** Friendly, diligent, and responsible demeanor with a positive attitude Strong math and problem-solving skills Proven experience in money management and cash handling Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise employees effectively Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Organizational and time management abilities Ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly Reliability and consistent attendance **Preferred Qualifications:** Previous shift management or supervisory experience Experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment Conflict resolution and problem-solving experience Training and development experience with team members Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems Experience with scheduling and workforce planning Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
