Job Description We're looking for an enthusiastic and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our Edwardsville location (120 E Vandalia St). Lead and supervise shifts, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company standards Manage employee scheduling, training, and performance to build a motivated and efficient team Handle cash management, including register reconciliation, deposits, and financial accuracy Interact professionally and empathetically with customers to resolve concerns and ensure satisfaction Answer phones, take orders, and provide accurate information in a timely manner Maintain store cleanliness and organization, setting an example for team members Analyze operational metrics and identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization Delegate tasks effectively and provide constructive feedback to support team development Lift and move items up to 25 pounds regularly as part of daily operations Collaborate with store leadership to implement new initiatives and drive business goals Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address challenges decisively and transparently Qualifications **Required Skills & Competencies:** Strong math and problem-solving abilities Excellent money management and cash handling experience Outstanding customer service and communication skills Proven employee management and leadership capabilities Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems Time management and organizational skills Conflict resolution and interpersonal skills Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly **Required Experience & Attributes:** Friendly, diligent, and responsible work ethic Positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for the role Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience managing shifts or leading operational teams Proven track record of delivering results and meeting goals Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment **Preferred Qualifications:** Previous experience in a supervisory or management role Knowledge of inventory management and stock control Experience with employee training and development Familiarity with food safety standards and practices Experience in the food service or retail industry Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
