Job Description We are seeking an organized and efficient Assistant Manager to join our team at our 805 Salem Rd location in Mount Vernon. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the store's daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and helping to lead and develop our team members. Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring smooth functioning of all departments Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally Support in managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise Help train, supervise, and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations Assist in creating and implementing strategies to meet sales goals and improve store performance Handle cash management duties, including register operations and bank deposits Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment Step in for the Store Manager in their absence, making key decisions as needed Qualifications Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating positive customer experiences Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure Efficient time management and organizational skills Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems Previous retail or customer service experience required Management or supervisory experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices is a plus Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
