Description As the Assistant Manager of the ice cream shop, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations and overall success of the business. Working closely with the General Manager, you will assist in managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the shop. Team Leadership: Supervise a team of 10 to 15 staff members, providing guidance and support. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development. Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service by setting and maintaining high standards for product quality, presentation, and customer interactions. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring cleanliness and organization. Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to prevent shortages or excess. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are prepared according to established recipes. Conduct regular quality checks and cleanings on ice cream machines and equipment. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training to staff on customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Identify and nurture talent within the team for potential advancement. Act as a liaison between staff and management. Requirements Requirements: Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the food service or retail industry. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a young team. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Food handling and safety certification is a plus.
